Where it is important to ensure that our products meet new building regulations, we will commission independent testing so that customers can be assured of the performance of CMS Acoustics supplied materials.
A recent example is the introduction of new requirements for acoustic insulation of beam and block flooring. In response to this, CMS Acoustics identified a high performance solution for the UK construction industry, and had it tested to ensure compliance for a wide range of applications.
Aside from this, a number of our products are Robust Standard Detail compliant with Part E regulations, and those that are recommended for projects where Pre Completion Testing will be undertaken have consistently outperformed minimum Part E requirements.
