CMS adds Vertiface Acoustic Wall Coverings to Product Range

Leading acoustic solutions provider, CMS Acoustics, has extended its range of acoustic wall covering solutions to include the Vertiface product range, which adheres directly to interior wall surfaces and reduces reverberant sound levels.

Made from non-woven polyester, Vertiface wall coverings help to improve listening conditions by absorbing sound. With a Noise Reduction Coefficient of 0.4, Vertiface reduces reverberated noise in building interiors by approximately 40 per cent. This is particularly important in environments such as classrooms where noise levels act as a barrier to learning.

Vertiface also offers design flexibility to include cut-ins and logos as the material does not zip or fray when cut. Available in a choice of 30 fashionable colours, the range can be used to create a warmer, brighter environment.

It incorporates the additional benefit of Pinguard, meaning that it can also be used as a display board without having unsightly pin holes in the wall.

CMS Acoustics managing director, Lee Hackett, commented: “We believe it is essential to make a wide range of acoustic solutions available. Vertiface is a very versatile product in that it has impressive noise reduction benefits, great design versatility, and is also simple to install.”

The Vertiface range is used in a wide range of applications such as schools, libraries and office interiors.

Vertiface is made from 100% polyester fibres thermally bonded in a non-woven matrix and laminated to a high density non-woven polyester backing. The range is available in a fine velour or rib finish. It is typically 10-12mm thick and is available in both rolls and tiles.

The Vertiface range is a safe, non toxic, non irritant, recyclable product that is resistant to moisture and fading.
