Circus Casino places sure bet with Regupol Acousti-Tile
Regupol Acousti-Tile, the high performance acoustic tiling system from CMS Acoustics, has been installed at the new Circus Casino in Liverpool, to control impact and airborne noise generated from a tiled flooring finish in the café area.
The coffee bar, @Latte, is situated over two levels. A tiled floor finish was specified in this area to meet both the design and hygiene requirements. Consultants at CMS Acoustics recommended and supplied Regupol Acousti-Tile to dampen the impact sound arising from the tiled floor. Regupol Acousti-Tile can provide impact sound insulation of up to 19dB and is compatible with all types of subfloors.
At Circus Casino, flooring specialists, CD Contracting Ltd., installed Regupol Acousti-Tile onto the boards covering timber floor joists, with the tiles laid directly on top using an approved adhesive. The material was used to cover the entire 92m2 of café floor, including the stairs leading to the first floor level.
