Regupol 4515 range shows environmental credentials at Ecobuild 2008
The Regupol 4515 range of acoustic underlay materials will be on show at Ecobuild (26 28 February) on the Ecomerchant stand (E674). Distributed exclusively in the UK through CMS Acoustic Solutions, Ecomerchant has recently added the completely recycled and recyclable impact sound system to its portfolio, and will be using the exhibition as an opportunity to put the Regupol 4515 range through its paces.
Members of the CMS Acoustics technical team will be available on the Ecomerchant stand, for the duration of the exhibition, to provide free advice on sustainable sound insulation and choosing an environmentally acoustic flooring product.
As well as being produced using recycled materials, the manufacturing process of the Regupol 4515 range has minimal impact on the environment. This includes ‘zero ODP’ (Ozone Depletion Potential) and ‘zero GWP’ (Global Warming Potential).
Paul Absolon, technical director, CMS Acoustic Solutions, comments: “The addition of the Regupol 4515 range to Ecomerchant’s portfolio is testament to the material’s environmental credentials. From its manufacturing process down to material composition, Regupol 4515 is designed to offer an environmentally friendly solution to impact sound control.”
The Regupol 4515 acoustic underlay range includes a choice of two materials Regupol 4515 Multi and Regupol 4515 Eco offering acoustic flooring products to satisfy the requirements of Part E beneath any floor finish and on all types of project.
At the higher performing end of the portfolio is Regupol 4515 Multi. Made from a polyurethane foam and cork compound, Regupol 4515 Multi is extremely flexible as it delivers superior sound insulation and Part E compliance with any floor finish, including tiled surfaces.
As a lower cost alternative, Regupol 4515 Eco is designed for use with hardwood and laminate floor finishes. This is because the material is made up of rubber and cork, making it prone to the plasticizer migration that can cause discolouration of light coloured floor finishes, such as carpets and vinyls.
The complete Regupol 4515 range is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects. All materials are supplied in easy to lay rolls and do not require specialist trades for installation. Designed to help minimise construction heights, the Regupol 4515 range is supplied in standard thicknesses of 3mm and 4.5mm.
