CMS Acoustics Launches Specification Guide for M&E Sector
CMS Acoustics, the UK's largest provider of acoustic solutions, has launched a specification guide to support mechanical and electrical (M&E) consultants and contractors in selecting the right acoustic or vibration product for a specific application.
Available now, the guide details essential technical information on all key products designed to control noise and vibration in M&E, including the market-leading Regupol RAV and Kinetics ranges. With the broadest product range on the market, CMS Acoustics can provide a cost effective solution to any M&E sound challenge, including heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plant rooms and machinery.
Matt Bromley, managing director, CMS Acoustics, comments: “The operation of M&E services generates varying degrees of noise and vibration which, if left untreated, have the potential to cause damage to the equipment itself as well as disturb occupants in a building. We’ve developed the M&E guide to make it easier for consultants and contractors to identify solutions to these challenges, simplifying detailed technical information into an intuitive and easy to use format.”
Providing the complete solution for noise and vibration control, CMS Acoustics and sister company CMS Vibrations, have a proven record of collaborating on M&E projects which require a combination of specialist acoustic or vibration systems. The technical teams are able to provide guidance at design stage and see this through to on-site supervision and installation, ensuring a seamless service and efficient project progression.
In addition to providing an overview of the complete range of acoustic and vibration products designed for M&E applications, the guide also includes working examples of M&E sound control in practice.
The M&E guide is the latest in a series of technical support materials developed by CMS Acoustics to facilitate the acoustic and anti-vibration specification process. Other publications in the series include a dedicated education brochure and the Sound Guide – the specifier’s complete guide to acoustics.
