CMS Acoustics school brochureCMS Acoustics Launches Schools Brochure

Responding to the requirement of schools to comply with sound control standards, CMS Acoustic Solutions has launched a comprehensive brochure detailing school-specific acoustic products and systems. Providing a quick reference point for specifying key acoustic products for educational environments, as well as detailing the current standards set out in Building Bulletin 93 (BB93), the ‘Education & BB93’ brochure is available for free from CMS Acoustics or to download from the website, www.cmsacoustics.co.uk.

Comprising information on the high performance products within CMS Acoustics’ new educational product range, the schools brochure presents the key features and benefits of the acoustic systems available for floors, walls and ceilings to control impact sound, absorb sound and reduce reverberation times. The addition of illustrated case studies for each sound control type allows architects and specifiers to visualise a product’s application.

Products featured in the new schools brochure include the Regupol range of underscreed systems and acoustic underlays. Available exclusively in the UK through CMS Acoustics, the Regupol range incorporates Regupol 4515 Multi and Regupol 7210C, and offers long-term sound insulation performance without collapsing or ‘bottoming out’ under high point loads.

In addition, the schools brochure highlights the extensive range of solutions available to help improve listening conditions though the absorption of sound. Treatments provided by CMS Acoustics include acoustic wall coverings and bespoke panels, such as Vertiface Composition and the CMS SuperPhon range. Moreover, CMS Acoustics offers a hardwearing acoustic cladding material, QuietStone, which can be installed onto both walls and ceilings.

The schools brochure complements the existing range of technical literature from CMS Acoustics, which includes the second edition of the ‘Sound Guide’ and the extensive range of technical product datasheets.
