CMS Acoustics Enhances ‘The Sound Guide’
CMS Acoustic Solutions has launched the second edition of its industry-acclaimed ‘Sound Guide’, the most comprehensive acoustic solutions resource for specifiers in the construction and industrial sectors. An application-led directory, the Sound Guide provides unrivalled technical information on over 200 acoustic and anti-vibration products, offering solutions for virtually every conceivable requirement.
Specifically designed to simplify the specification process, the Sound Guide contains airborne and impact acoustic solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects. Updated with the latest products from CMS Acoustics, such as Regupol SoundFoam, a reliable and cost effective screed isolation solution for Part E compliance, the Sound Guide also includes robust acoustic cladding materials, such as QuietStone, and absorptive and reflective wall panels from the Kinetics diffusion and reflection range, for enhanced listening quality.
Covering both construction and industrial acoustics, the guide has evolved to reflect the changes in the current market by including dedicated sections on acoustic solutions for schools and timber applications and an enhanced anti-vibration section.
Paul Absolon, technical director, CMS Acoustics, comments: “With an industry that is changing rapidly, we want to keep our customers informed of the full range of product offerings and updated technical data for all our acoustic and anti-vibration systems. A valuable resource for specifiers, the Sound Guide demystifies the specification process by making technical information easily accessible, as well as showcasing how the products can be applied in practice.”
Each section now features a user-friendly product selector, compiled as a quick reference guide to show the compatibility of each product with a variety of floor types and finishes, applications and project types. Moreover, all Robust Detail approved products and the systems that are suitable for Pre-Completion Testing are clearly indicated.
